Chinese) also came to the archipelago with the economic and political motives
(seeking asylum, a new country, to develop regional or expansion).
About ethnic Chinese or people - Muslims in Yogyakarta is still a
minority, the compliance rate of the Chinese - Muslim there is still not so high
even then only on special occasions such as study groups and seminars organized
by Mr. H. Budi Setyagraha, former Chairman of Pembina Iman Tauhid Indonesia
(PITI), DIY. Motivation of the Chinese - Muslim also varied among others, selfawareness
(converts) , mixed marriages , and very little due to hereditary factors. |
