| description | Regional Supervisory Assembly is an institution that has the authority and obligation to implement the guidance, supervision, and examination of the Notary in a region. One role of the Regional Supervisory Assembly seen from the supervision of the protocol handover of the Notary who have entered the age of 65 years old and have passed away in Sleman. This research aims to determine the role of Regional Supervisory Assembly about the protocol handover of the Notary who have entered the age of 65 years old and have passed away in Sleman and the constraints faced by the Regional Supervisory Assembly in dealing with the associated Notary.
This is a juridical empirical research. The research employs library study and srengthened with field study. It used primary data obtained from field through
interview as data collecting instruments. Secondary data for supporting what were obtained from library research through the study on documents. These data were then analyzed qualitatively, while the result was presented descriptively.
The result of this research indicated that there was a poor coordination between member of the Regional Supervisory Assembly and the Notaries to deal with the protocol of the Notary who have entered the age of 65 years or have died, and for this problem, the Regional Supervisory Assembly provided a solution that was agreed by all parties. This was because of there are some obstacles, such as the handover proccess of the protocol is uncomplete according to the specified procedures. These obstacles can be solved by approaching the Notaries to build a good relationship. So that, the compliance with regulations and codes of conduct of the Notary can be enforced. |
