| Summary: | Increasing health service quality by state hospital is not separated from
sufficient health facility. Sufficient health facility passes a good and accurate
planning mechanism to identify need relating to prime health service. In
Selebesolu local hospital in Sorong procurement of health facility pass a planning
mechanism conducted internally and externally to obtain good planning
particularly for fulfilling health facility need.
This research was intended to analyze factors influencing planning of
health facility procurement in Selebesolu local hospital in Sorong town.
Analytical tool used in this research is SWOT analysis as a method that describes
condition and evaluates a problem, project or concept based on internal and
external factor including strength, weakness, opportunities and threat.
Result of SWOT analysis indicated that planning of health facility need
procurement in Selebesolu local hospital is influenced by amount of patient,
amount of medical and non medical staff. Amount of patient and medical and non
medical personnel increase every year, but it is not followed with sufficient health
facility. Selebesolu hospital has weakness in human resource for planning, weak
leadership, insufficient fund, less specialist. However, the hospital has
opportunities of health personnel market particularly for specialist, increasing
hospital type from C to B. Threat the hospital face is influence of culture and
local custom on health service.
