developments and trends, especially in metropolitan cities. Changing people's lifestyles are
becoming more consumerist, it makes the need for clothing increased. Age a used clothing is also
becoming a 'shorter' despite the fact that the clothes can be used more lama.Tren accelerating rate
of change makes the need for a surge in clothing sector.
Semarang is included in the five largest metropolitan cities in Indonesia is one of the city's
dependence terhada big enough lifestyle. In this city there are approximately 20 clothing industry
enterprises in which only about 75% of them are doing the distribution of its own products to
Semarang. So it can be said that the garment industry company in this case raised jeans products are
needed to meet the needs of modern society.
Industrial building design course greatly benefit from the economic sector, but it is not
beneficial in terms of environmental health in general. According to a survey conducted by the
Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology in the textile industry, more than 90% of
textile companies do not have a wastewater treatment plant, so the waste is directly discharged to
the sewer and water eyes.
Thus, the design of jeans garment factory with the concept of ecological approach is
expected not only to meet the needs of existing disemarang clothes, but also can make an ecofriendly
architectural masterpiece. |
