Summary: | This study discusses about piracies of PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja. The main idea of
this study based on the successful act of PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja on defeating
piracies against their product that has been applied for about seventeen years.
The successful of PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja as a main roles of producing
alternative merchandise, brings the new act in society as a piracies againts the
products, designs, and logo from PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja by the group of
persons or individual act. This problem will be appears as a serious threat if they
don�t take an action of defeating of this matter. The focus of this study is the
strategies that has been applied, the impacts from piracies, and the effectiveness of
the strategies that has benn applied.
One of important point of this act by PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja against piracy is
the strategies their applied to this case are appropriate based on the culture that
lives in society at Jogjakarta. The impacts from this piracies are material and non
� material impacts, such as bad image of PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja and rude
bussiness competition.
This method of study used several techniques, such as observation, interview,
book research, and analyze the data result based on primary and secondary
resources. Primary resources collected from picture documentation and interview
results with the manager and staffs of PT Aseli Dagadu Djokdja. The secondary
resources collected from journals, articles, books, and internet resources.
