Summary: | This thesis aims (1) to analyze the performance of vehicle maintenance
department in the Secretariat of the Papua Province, and (2) to analyze the key
factors that affect the implementation of the maintenance of official vehicles in
Papua Provincial Secretariat. This study used a descriptive method with qualitative
descriptive analysis method. This study was conducted at 10 on education in the
Papua Provincial Secretariat in Jayapura after the exam proposal and time set by
academic research. To support this research, material, or material that is used in the
form of primary data and secondary data relating to the object of research. In
collecting the data, used several techniques, namely: observation, questionnaires,
and documentation.
The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method is a technique
of sampling the data source selection is done with a certain consideration. In this
study, the data analysis technique used is the technique of Miles-Huberman model
analysis performed interactively through a process of data reduction, data
presentation, data verification and conclusion. To determine performance levels and
interests, then used analysis tool Importance- Performance Analysis (IPA). By
using IPA analysis, it is known attributes are required for the evaluation, which
attributes require improvement, and which attributes do not need to be maintained.
The results showed that in terms of maintenance, in general all the key
attributes of the vehicle maintenance department Papua Provincial Secretariat
considered important by the respondents. In terms of performance, general vehicle
maintenance department performance attributes Papua Provincial Secretariat has
been considered either by the respondent
