Summary:Analysis on 2D seismic data has been done in Bintang Prospect, East Java Basin. AVO attribute analysis is used to analyze the existence and distribution on Sand-C reservoir Kalibeng Formation on RDU well. The AVO analysis was done to determine response of AVO anomaly in target zone. Seismic section which has angle of incidence from 20-250 is used in this AVO analysis.The result of both intercept and gradient attributes are negative. By multiplying negative intercept attribute and negative gradient attribute, the positive result is achieved. Intercept and gradient product is used as indicators of the presence of hydrocarbons in RDU well. Gas distribution on target zone in this area of gas can be assessed through intercept and gradient product. The result of AVO intercept and gradient product (A*B) on RDU well indicate that Sand-C reservoir is class III gas sand which have low impedance contrast sands. Distribution of AVO anomaly relatively on Bintang Prospect spread in the direction of southwest and northern flank.
