| Summary: | This study aimed to know and analyze the profile on poverty rate in the
district in Kebumen Regency in 2011 and to analyze the effect of economic
growth to poverty levels in the district in Kebumen Regency during 2002-2011.
This study based on the level of poverty in the Kebumen Regency during 2002-2011 was higher than Central Java Province and Indonesian. The variable that
usedin this study is economic growth. The data that used are secondary from
SUSENAS in 2011 and all sub-districts in Kebumen Regency at 260 observation
units. The best analytical tool model that used in this study is panel data
regression using random effect.
The result show that poverty rate in Kebumen Regency largely found in rural
area mainly as farmers and graduated from elementary education in productive
age during 15-64 years old. The highest poverty rate found in northen area subdistrics such as Karangsambung, Karanggayam and Sempor sub distric. Than
during 2002-2011, the economic growth in Kebumen Regency has no significans
effect to poverty decrease. |
