| Summary: | In 2013, the price of the fuel has increased so much in Indonesia. So, many
unfair competitions are going to have to enrich themselves. Based on that condition,
there are many gasoline retail traders mix gasoline with turpentine. They do not think
about the effect of mixture gasoline with turpentine. The aim of the study is to find out
the effect of the additional (turpentine) on fuel, especially premium to the needs of fuel
and the exhausting emissions results.
The method which used in this study are firstly, the data was collected by
observation which conduct the direct research. The second is the interview data by
retrieval expert. The third is studying the research literatures. And fourthly, the data
were obtained and analyzed according to the discussion.
The result shows that the use of the fuel mixture to the needs of fuel and the
exhausting emissions give advantages. The use of fuel needs are more efficient and give fewer exhaust emissions. On the other hand, the fuel mixture make machine more heat and more dirty. So, it must be frequently serviced. The use of the fuel mixture in long periods of time will make damage to the machine.
