At this time, the incidence of the disease has spread can be predicted in advance
by utilizing remote sensing technology and geographic information system so that
people are able to anticipate in advance. This research aims to assess the ability
of QuickBird imagery to extract parameters for dengue fever, knowing that the
area has a severe impact on the spread of dengue fever in the District of West
Bekasi and evaluate the parameters of the spread of dengue vectors in the district
of West Bekasi, Bekasi .
The methods used in this research are by Quickbird image interpretation,
determining the samples with stratified random sampling method, test accuracy
using a confusion matrix calculation and evaluation parameters using statistical
analysis regression.
The use of QuickBird Imagery in extracting the relevant parameters of
dengue fever has 85.3 % accuracy level interpretation. Class vulnerability to the
spread of dengue disease is divided into three, namely low, medium and high.
Moderate impact class can be found in the Village Bintara, Bintara Jaya, Kota
Baru and Kranji, while high vulnerability is at the Village Jakasampurna.
