description Ancylostomiasis was one worm caused infection case frequently infecting cats. The purpose of this research was not identify ancylostomiasis incidence rate in Yogyakarta among cats that were well reared in house but they also went outdoor (semi-feral) and those that were feral. There were 280 faecal samples exploited in this research. The owner was given a questionnaire consist of general inspection, sex, age, breed, vaccination status, history of cat, system maintenance, feed, and frequency of diarrhea. The Ancylostoma sp. worm eggs were identified by using native and centrifugal methods then the data collected in the examination were descriptively analyzed. Based on the results of this research, it was showed that they were 19 of 280 cat samples infected by Ancylostoma sp. Among the cats reared in the house, there were 7 of 191 cats samples positively infected by Ancylostoma sp., 4 of 62 semi-feral cats were infected by Ancylostoma sp., and 8 of 27 feral cats were infected by Ancylostoma sp. Based on the result, it was concluded that the infestation level of Ancylostoma sp. among cats in Yogyakarta was 6,8% (19/280), with the cats reared indoors of 3,66% (7/191), lower than the semi-feral cats of 6,45% (4/62) and the highest was found among feral cats of 29,63% (8/27).
