| Summary: | Introduction: The large number of traditional medicine consumers demand
traditional medicine producers to guarantee the quality of their products. Good
Traditional Medicine Manufacturing Process (CPOTB) is a standard in ensuring
the quality of traditional medicine products. Sukoharjo Regency is one of the
traditional medicine centers and Nguter Village Sukoharjo Regency was declared
as �Kampung Jamu�. Most traditional medicine producers in Nguter Village
Sukoharjo Regency are Traditional Medicine Small Enterprise (UKOT) and it�s
not known whether they have implemented CPOTB in every production stage.
Method: This study used CPOTB implementation evaluation checklist and indepth
interviews were carried out with heads and technical managers in 10 UKOT
in Nguter Village Sukoharjo regency and Head of Indonesian Jamu Cooperative
(KOJAI) of Sukoharjo Regency. The results of CPOTB implementation
evaluation checklist were scores and turned into percentages, then it was seen an
UKOT was in good, good enough, or less well category. Then the results of indepth
interviews were described and presented in narrative form.
Results: UKOT in Nguter Village Sukoharjo Regency had implemented two of
