Summary: | The train is one of the means of land transportation is still active and in
demand by the public. Transportation is chosen by the community with some
considerations that are more economical, safer and regularly scheduled. To ensure
the reliability of the train, then the PT KAI to build some unit and depots scattered
islands of Java and Sumatra. One Unit is located in Yogyakarta UPT Balaiyasa.
UPT Balaiyasa handle semi final treatment, end of treatment and breakdown
maintenance on locomotives operating on the island of Java. At the time
dependent Balaiyasa (3 months after treatment), the locomotive should not be
impaired. However, the fact still ditemkan some disruption during Balaiyasa
dependents. Thus, further study is needed on production quality semi final
treatment and final treatment locomotive UPT Balaiyasa. This study uses the
assessment of the penalty imposed on the clock (JO) locomotive maintenance. In
addition, to examine the locomotive disorders using pareto charts, control charts
U - charts, fishbone diagrams, failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA).
The results of the calculation of the quality of care states that the
locomotive is not impaired only 39.55 % of the sample. With a standard deviation
of 5.45 and variance 29.69. Pareto chart there are 7 states that interference must be
eliminated from the 12 disorders. In the U -chart states that the treatment process
is still in control. Thus, the analysis performed to determine the causal disturbance
and disorder priorities that should be eliminated. Suggestions that need updating
overall standard operation procedure (SOP), the provision of training for human
resource development and the need for test equipment care outcomes, not just a
visual test.
