Summary: | This study aims ti analyze the impact government investment in the trade sector done in preparation for the ASEAN Economy Community (AEC) 2015 on sector output, the distribution of income and employment, and householad income distribution and characteristics as well as the demand for goods and service (commodities) both domestic and imported. The data used to analyze was the Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) Indonesia 2008 with the help of software applications developed by the World Bank, \"Simulation for Social Indicators and Poverty: IO and SAM Analysis\" (SimSIP SAM).
The analytical tools is first used ti analyze the import export occurring in the Indonesian toward ASEAN countries using OLS regression. This is done to see how the trade that occurs in ASEAN countries as a result of investment in the trde sector. After mind the investment in term of trade sector isn known next analysis is Simulation for Social Indicators and Poverty: IO and SAM Analysis \"(SimSIP SAM) to determine the multiplier effects that occurred in Indonesia.
The analysis result show that Rp27 trillion of government investment in the trade sector have impact 1) increased production output in all sectors of Rp192 trillion or 1.85 percent, (2) the increase in total labor income of Rp56, 7 trillion or an increase of 2, 11 percent and employment throughout the sector reached 1.03438 million workers, (3) total revenue reaches Rp74 trillion households, an increase of 1.94 percent, (4) demand for domestic commodities reach Rp182 trillion or an increase of 1.58 per cent while the demand for commodity imports reached nearly Rp27, 7 trillion, an increase of 1.71 percent(5) the impact of the transfer multiplier open loop increase in exports in trade increase revenue in the enterprise institution by 0.2849 percent. (6) the impact of the transfer multiplier close loop increase in export in trade increase income on closed loop transfer multiplier effects increase in exports in trade increase household income on non-agricultural urban upper class of 0.4152 percent.
