| Summary: | Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) is an International convention that effort tobacco control for a healthy world under WHO. Indonesia's status as a negotiating state it has not ratified the convention. This legal writing is to discuss the prospects of Indonesia's participation in the convention to control the amount of active and passive smokers. The explicit policy of the government is needed to minimize the negative impacts of tobacco. In line with that Indonesia should accede to the convention as a legal framework for tobacco control.
