Therefore it is necessary for some equipmet to have lightning protection equipment, namely is arresster.
This study began by looking at the power supply output voltage of the battery charger before being subjected to impulse voltage. Output voltage of a charger, was 6.08V , so it can be concluded that the power supply filler Baterai was in a good state. In this test the baterai power supply charger was subjected to lightning impulse voltage having destructive impulse voltage power supply charger at around 900 V Baterai Impuls . The next test was an arresters durability testing that was given OBO V-20C arrester lightning impulse voltage in the range of 450-4600 V to know the arrester residual voltage.
The use of low OBO V-20C voltage arrester that cutt the lightning impulse voltage within a safe limit is needed to protect electronic equipment, which is located primarily in the home. Battery mobile power supply charger was tested as a tool to prove that electronic equipment under 60V DC ( VW1 ) can only withstand lightning impulse voltage up to 1 kV. |
