Umbulharjo village, Sleman. Merapi volcanoe eruption in 2010 as the emerge of such
kind of tourism due to tourists� interest especially ex house late Mbah Maridjan.
Although Kinahrejo develops to be tourism destination, Sleman regency decided
Kinahrejo as Merapi Disaster Risk Area region 3.
Based on etnosains perspective, this research is analyzing local citizen
perspective, volcanoe tourism management in Umbulharjo village and Sleman
Tourism Board about Kinahrejo and its tourism after eruption in 2010. A data
collecting by observation and depth interview with key informans to get complete
etnografi description.
The result of research show that there is different point of view between
Kinahrejo citizen, volcanoe tourism management in Umbulharjo village and Sleman
Tourism Board about Kinahrejo after eruption and tourism in there. Based on the
economic perspective, Kinahrejo citizen and volcanoe tourism management in
Umbulharjo think that Kinahrejo is one of tourism area. Tourism is defined as
commercial business. Based on the tecnocratic perspective, Sleman Tourism Board
think that Kinahrejo as Merapi Disaster Risk Area region 3. Sleman Tourism Board
keen on developing Kinahrejo is volcanoe tourism which educate tourist about
volcanoe and the eruption.
The distinguish point of view between them influence in deciding policy to
develop tourism in Kinahrejo. The priority tourism development for Kinahrejo citizen
and volcanoe tourism management in Umbulharjo village is material value by
building infrastructure and other facilities. But, the priority tourism development
according to Sleman Tourism Board is knowledge value and local human resources
development. |
