| Summary: | Background : The accuracy of coding diagnoses and procedures the patient is
very important because it is useful to facilitate the service on the presentation of
information to support the planning function of management and research in
health, facilitate classification of the disease, knowing the type of disease that is
growing, determination of drugs and on the INA CBG's can serve as a
determinant of the cost of treatment patients. The implementation of the coding is
done by a medical professional recorder using international classification
standards.
Purpose : Knowing the implementation of coding diagnoses and procedures in
hospitalized patients JKN, knowing the percentage of accuracy of coding
diagnoses and procedures in hospitalized patients JKN, determine suitability
verification code between the sheets with INA CBG's, knowing the causes of
inaccuracies and discrepancies.
Method : This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach.
Phenomenological research design. Methods of data collection by interview,
observation and documentation studies.
Results : Implementation of inpatient coding JKN in Bhayangkara Polda DIY
Yogyakarta hospitals carried by two people, one of whom graduated from
Nursing. Officers only encodes JKN sheet verification, medical record file is not
encoded. The implementation of the coding is in conformity with the existing rules
on ICD-10 and still be a delay in the coding for JKN claims. Percentage accuracy
of diagnosis codes on the verification sheet JKN hospitalization by 60% and
accuracy of 77,55% action code. Percentage conformance verification code on
sheet inpatient JKN with INA CBG's at 79,33%. The factors that lead to
inaccuracies and mismatches code is the human factor that doctors did not write
a complete diagnosis and action and illegible doctor handwriting, officers did not
inquire further coding diagnoses and actions that are less obvious to the doctor is
concerned, the lack of standard operating procedures regarding the
implementation of the coding JKN.
