Sammanfattning: | Value Engineering is a creative approach and planned with the aim to identify and
streamline the costs of unnecessary regulations and in accordance with the Public
Works Department No. 222/KPTS/CK/1991 Directorate General of Cipta Karya. In
this regulation mentioned that the buildings have value or construction cost more
than 1 billion should be held to an analysis of Value Engineering. Value engineering
analysis performed on Gresik Stadium Building Project and Another Supporting
Arena.
Value engineering process is divided into five stages, namely the stage of information,
creative, analytical, development and recommendation. These stages include the first
stage is the stage is information that describes all phases of general information,
design criteria and functions of parts of the work items to be analyzed by the method
of cost models. The second stage is the stage that contains creative about alternatives
that will be used. The third stage is the stage that contains the analysi s of the re
calculation of the strength of the structure by using a computer program SAP 2000 v
16, costing analysis, assessment of alternatives and analysis of each component of the
job functions of each beam. The fourth stage is the stage of development that contains
a cost analysis and value engineering calculations. The fifth stage is the stage that
contains recommendations about the initial plans, the proposals, the basic
considerations and results of research.
The results of the analysis of each alternative calculation of each item of work the
beam, a total savings of beam work items amounted to IDR 2,276,650,474.11 or
equal to 32.41%. It can be concluded that the application of value engineering in
Gresik Stadium Building Projects and Another Supporting Arena can reduce the cost
of the planned work.
