description Noise caused by surrounding environment that interferes human activities can basically be solved by many ways. One of them is making sound absorbers. Sound absorber in the form of wood has good absorption value. It has been tested on two types of impedance tube. From the results taken, the good model of impedance tube used for the sample test is a tube with no tube inside. Meanwhile, teak wood is a good absorption material at a frequency of 1000 Hz, which has 99.9% power absorption, then followed bykanfer wood, munggur wood, and sawo wood at the same frequency. However, at the frequency of 1600 Hz angsana wood is the besttype among others.
