description Locomotive cooling system is a system that serves to keep the engine in a locomotive engine temperature to ideal conditions. Cooling system must be done, if there occur a leak in the cooling system, the engine will be overheating, so the engine locomotive can�t operation. Every dipo has a preventive maintenance of operational standards within the same conditions cooling system. However, based on historical data, there is a different time pattern of failure from any dipo in the water leak radiator for cooling, it can be predicted treatment of each dipo has specific factors that differ in treating cooling system to function properly. Therefore, this research analysis factors of influence the water leak in the radiator cooling system every locomotive dipo . This research used survival analysis methods were performed using Cox Proportional Hazard models to determine the factors. The results showed that the most influential variable from the variables that affect the cooling system damage locomotive proportional hazard models is the quality factor, the final improvements to the value of β is -0707 . In addition, the dipo which has a probability of failure the cooling system is the highest locomotive dipo 3 Cirebon, then the probability of failure to the cooling system has the lowest is dipo 4 Jatinegara.
