determine the blood profile between broilers fed with deltamethrin.Experimented
animals used in this study were male broiler chickens that were divided into a
control group and the treatment group.
The control group is a group of chickens that were given normal food and
drink. The treatment group is a group of chickens induced with pesticide
deltamethrin in drinking water at a concentration of 10 mg / L. Blood samples
were taken on the 35th day for examination of the different blood descriptions.
Blood tests that were carried out includes examining the number of erythrocytes,
packed cell volume (PCV), hemoglobin levels, total plasma protein, leukocyte
count, and differential leukocyte. The data were then analyzed with the bivariate
comparative statistical methods.
From the results obtained, it isconcluded that deltamethrincould reduce
the number of erythrocytes and total protein plasma, and increase the amount of
haemoglobin concentration in broiler chickens. It is suggested that the need for
proper management for the control of contamination of deltamethrin on all farms. |
