To improve the quality of concrete and to reduce the cost of concrete production, can be done by giving a material changes that is fly ash. In this research aim to determine the quality control of manufacturing process and analyze comparison concrete compressive strength using fly ash with content variation of 0%, 25%, 30%, 35%, and 40%. This research conducted at PT. SCG Readymix Indonesia Solo Plant�s laboratory. From this research can be known that the quality control that carried out by technical department of PT. SCG Readymix Indonesia Solo plant were according to the existing rules. From this concrete compressive strength testing known that optimum fly ash which content 35%. With percentage of 16,36% for K250 concrete quality and 12,27% for K300 concrete quality. Fly ash has a function as a filler and adhesive/ bonding material with concrete, so it can minimize the pores existing and the benefits of pozzolan properties from fly ash to improve the quality of concrete, because fly ash active when mixed with lime or cement. |
