Summary:Construction of the truss is a arrangement that serves to support the load of the roof as well as its own weight and at the same time can give shape to the roof. The truss are the main support of the structure of the roof. Truss are generally made of wood, but the development of the times and technological advances, have an impact on the progress of infrastructure development, especially in the framework of the truss. Order the truss are no longer only triangular or saddle, but have varying forms with unique design and long spans, so the use of wood as a base material truss are considered less effective, and this time the architects and engineers started switching using steel as the base material truss. This is because in addition to having great strength and tensile strength to withstand the press without requiring a lot of volume, the process of implementation was considered more convenient and efficient. As in the House Ballroom, Project Development harbor IPC Training Center II, Ciawi, truss were used pipes made from steel.
