| Summary: | The road is a means of land transportation is very important to facilitate the economic growth of a region, such as road Ngawis -Munggur Kecamatan Karangmojo Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Because there is no drainage system, the water often flooded so removing the asphalt surface molecules that bind the asphalt with aggregate resulting in broken asphalt road. So the maintenance should be carried out over the foundation layer, the penetration layer, and two layers of asphalt which aims to facilitate the flow of traffic.
Located between the layers of foundation over the sub-base layer and crushed stone surface using 5/7, 3/5, and 2/3 are arranged later in the roller compaction using three wheel. Penetration using aggregate 3/5, 2/3, and ½ then compiled and compacted using three wheel roller. While fused using two layers of asphalt aggregate 2/3 and ½ then compacted using three wheel roller.
Based on the results of the maintenance work, roads and traffic flow in the road Ngawis-Munggur Kecamatan Karangmojo Kabupaten Gunungkidul has returned to normal and uneventful.
