| Summary: | A field work practice to accomplish the final project which is scheduled as the program of paramedic veterinary study was conducted at Disease Investigation Center (BBVet) Wates, Yogyakarta. on 31 march � 4 april 2014. The objective of this final project is to collect and determine rabies cases in the dogs based on the data from BBVet Wates, Yogyakarta. Rabies causing brain inflammation (enchephalitis) is RNA virus which is in the family of Rhapdoviridae and genus Lyssavirus. The data collected are consisted of the anaemnesa related to the rabies cases during the year of 2010, the procedur of delivering samples to BBVet and the diagnostic procedures of rabies done in the laboratory. The diagnosis of canine rabies is especially based on flourescent antibody technique. |
