description Energy labelization is a project held by government of Indonesia to ingnitiate people awarness of electrical energy consumption at daily life. It has produce standardization for light bulb and certainly will be developed to another tools. For air conditioning machine which has giant energy consumption, government has creating SNI : 19-6713-2002 as guideline but it has not equipped with the design of its testing machine to testing and defining electrical power used for the equipment. As the system design created, the air conditioning machine performance testing system is sized 8.5m length, 6.0m width, 3m height and consist of two major parts : indoor and outdoor compartment, both has conditioning unit to creating cooling load of air conditioning machine. Those system is calculating Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER), which as major calculation of electricity needed by air conditioning machine to perform conditioning process. Each conditioning unit is consist of : mixer + fan to mixing air and adding circulation air, humidifier to conditioning humidity, electrical heater to increasing temperature, and cooling coil to lowering temperature. Those instrumentation are controlled in control panel in outside of machine and can be conditioned in several condition based on natural climate in Indonesia (minimum temperature + maximum humidity, and maximum temperature + minimum humidity, for about 5oC 98% - 39oC 20%). It also can accomodating maximum cooling load of ordinary 2 PK (1470W) air conditioning machine. Fulfilling those design also following its operational procedure, electricity used for air conditioning machine also its energy efficiency ratio (EER) can be defined and energy labelization project can be optimised and creating economical energy habitual in modern society.
