requirement of people and surely follow the development of increasingly
sophisticated technology. Differences in variant affect part list needed for
assemble each unit engine that can unknown from specification of engine like
manual, automatic, difference in fuel, difference in oil, difference in temperature,
etc. TMMIN produce 2 cars brand ( Innova and Fortuner ) that consists of 24
variants. Because of many engine variants, so to avoid reading fault on the engine
variant needed a tool that can do rading engine variant automatically and
guaranteed accuracy with TCR-2000 usage.
TCR-2000 is a tool that visually a Touch Screen Operation Panel that
display engine code variant along part list or work list is needed to be assembled
into unit engine. Reading engine code variant read by antenna is placed on the
side on conveyor and then signal frequency transmitted to TCR-2000, so engine
code variant and part list that needed displayed on touch screen of TCR-2000.
This tequipment is a Japanese creation equipment that is designed in such a way
to assist the operator in assembling an engine unit, but in some pos line there are
several TCR-2000 which suffered damage caused by age because they have been
in operation for 20 years so that damage to the touch screen panel and declared
unfit to operate and need to be replaced.
