| description | The Seturan area is one of area in Depok Subdistrict, Sleman Regency,
Yogyakarta. This area begin to develop as a result of the existence educational
facilities which began to awaken in the 2000s. Developments in The Seturan Area
such as the development of commercial and residential facilities. This
development it also affected the land use patterns and movement activity of user
space in The Seturan Area. Along with the development of the area, apparently
not offset with good spatial arrangement, so that the conditions existing at the
time the area is likely to develop at sprawling. Land use and movement activity of
use space in The Seturan Area became looks more disorganized which also
resulted in utilization of infrastructure facilities in area become less effective and
efficient.
Because various irregularities visible space in The Seturan Area,
counterposed the planning of space rejuvenation in The Seturan Area with using
compact city concept. Through the concept of the compact city performed design
The Seturan Area to be a compact area. To perform an appropriate design of the
area between field conditions and planning concepts espoused with a primary
survey through direct observation of field conditions and secondary survey of the
literature study of documents related information about Seturan Areas. From the
data obtained were then conducted a qualitative analysis of the data areas for
further design of spatial planning area is also adjusted to the concept of compact
city planning.
From design planning is done, generated rejuvenation The Seturan Area
with area spatial changes. These changes can be seen from commercial activities,
residential, and the office centralized in one area Seturan Raya Street. Moreover
done also plans to build a hospital, vertical construction of Hotel Seturan,
widening of Seturan Raya Street as the main road, replenishment of pedestrian
facilities, procurement of public buses, the opening of new streets in a residential
neighborhood residents, as well as the rest of the land use/between the green open
space (GOS) and the replenishment of public open space (POS). |
