| Summary: | In today's mining sector operating techniques and maintenance on the crane
unit in accordance with applicable SOP�s are essential. In addition to consider
the safety factor will also extend the service life of the machine. The purpose of
this study is to show how the operation and maintenance of mobile crane Tadano
GR-300 EX in Oil and Gas Education and Training Center Cepu as one entity
that issued the certification training for operators in Indonesia with the correct
method according to the standard.
This study uses unit Mobile Crane Tadano GR-300 EX is classified as the
heavy equipment that has the primary function of lifting. Method of crane
operation performed by each operator has a step that must be done, one of them
in the starting engine, traveling process, swing and lifting process. Components
maintenance on the crane unit is also an important thing that must be done to
make the work and the service life of the unit maximum. Implementation of crane
maintenance performed would require analysis prior to the damages exist to solve
the existing problem called troubleshooting.
The results indicate the presence of treatments performed include daily
maintenance, weekly maintenance, care and treatment of three months yearly to
prevent the damage to the unit Mobile Crane Tadano GR-300 EX and knowledge
of maintenance make the process of analysis and perform troubleshooting that
can be done.
