| Summary: | After Yogyakrata earthquake 2006, Beringharjo store C section have high
structural damage include column, beam, slab, and vibrating out of metro staircase
structure standard. Although Beringharjo store having many retrofitting but still have
structural damages that must be handle
Identification Beringharjo store C section damage must done for damage
classification depend on causes so it can be recommended to quality, time, and cost
retrofitting
As the observation, damage resulting shear crack, minor crack, flexural crack,
and spalling. From damage resulting Beringharjo store, shear crack column have high
priority. It causes captive column effect, there is a column captive by non structural wall,
and there is not. It recommended to column shear reinforce improvement that not captive
by wall and wall improvement so that is not happened again.
As metro staircase structure strengthen by IWF steel profile then design U form
and hanging to staircase beam. It was recommended because staircase beam is main
structure close to staircase, then the load transformed to staircase beam
