| description | Telaga Warna and Telaga Pangilon in Dieng Plateu both have wide riparian ecosystem which are many plants grow there, include aquatic plants, grasses, and also trees. It possibly supports a lot of insects live there and one of them is insects from Diptera order. The aim of this study is to learn about the diversity, roles and distribution of insects in Telaga Warna and Telaga Pangilon. The Data was collected by tracking method around both Telaga. The insects were caught using sweep net and also plastik pocket trap. Besides, the data of temperature, humidity, rainfall, and the vegetation around were collected too. The result of this research show us about 20 species and 11 families of Diptera order insects were found. The distribution of each insects can be found on 21 hostplants which were different and dominate by Rumex albescens and Cestrum nocturnum. The roles of insects were found in Telaga Warna are Nectaryvorous 25%, Entamorphagous 10%, and Coprophagous 15%. While, in Telaga Pangilon are Nectaryvorous 35%, Entamorphagous 10%, and Coprophagous 5%. The index of similarity in both area is 18,18% which 2 species among are Thelaira sumatrana and Chloromyia formosa. |
