| description | Indramayu regency has a high divorce numbers among other regencies in
Indonesia, according to the religious court of Indramayu. The divorces can
happens approximately 800 events per months or 8500-9000 in a year. The
reason behind this huge number is estimated because of the number of female
workers is also high.
This research is aimed for (1) to find the trends amd pattern of divorces in
Indramayu regency, (2) to know the reasons behind those divorces, (3) to know
the influence of the occupation as female workers with the divorce number in
Indramayu regency. The data is a secondary type data which was collected from
Social, Labors and Transmigration Service of Indramayu. The trends and pattern
of divorce data was analyzed with descriptive analysis and divorce classification
map of Indramayu Regency in 2011 -2013. The Descriptive Analysis was used to
analyze the reasons behind the divorce. In order to find the influence of the female
workers occupation and divorce number, logistic Regression was used.
The results shows that the trends of divorce increased during the 2011
period until 2013. The pattern is prevalent but the number is increased. The
occupation of the wives could impact the divorces events and is positively
correlated to the numbers of divorces in Indramayu during 2013 period.
Economical problems was what mostly people gave as the divorce reason in
Indramayu on the year of 2013. the result of regression model status of marriage
( ) Profession. The wives who worked as female workers
tends to divorce compared to those who were not.
