Summary:Two thirds of Indonesia is water, either ocean or the lake. The depth of water becomes a major factor that must be considered when undertaking various activities in the water such as diving, survey, research and so forth. To facilitate research and survey water depths somewhere needed a device that can read the depth. Unmanned Survace Vessel (USV) either automatically or manually created to facilitate human in a wide range of uses. In this case the USV is used to read and record the water depth using a depth sounder automatically connected to a data logger with a reading NMEA data from a depth sounder. Ship runs unmanned GPS-based autopilot heading coordinate points have been determined. In this study has created a model of a catamaran vessel with a length of 120 cm for water depth profiling using Arduino and can work well. From the test results ships can run on autopilot with both the ship and obtained the optimum speed to be able to perform data recording water depth is 3,5 km / hour with the accuracy of water depth readings reached 90.18%..
