description Performance appraisal is a periodic evaluation system that evaluates employees performance which supports the success of the organization or associated with the execution of employees duty. The evaluation process is done by comparing employees performance with the standard that has been enforced or comparing performance between employees with similar duties. The objectives of this study is to know if there is a relationship between perception torwards the precision of the performance appraisal criteria with motivation and organizational commitment at PT X. Researcher is expected to provide proposals to the company in the improvement in motivation and organizational commitment. Data collection techniques performed through the deployment of questionnaires to 107 people, using a Likert scale for question measuring techniques . The hypothesis in this study is whether there is a relationship between the perception torwards the precision of the performance appraisal criteria with the motivation and organizational commitment in the PT. X. Methods of data analysis used to analyze the causal relationship between variable perception torwards the precision of the performance appraisal criteria with variable motivation and organizational commitment by using Linear Regression analysis. After data analysis is done, then the obtained conclusion is that there is a positive correlation between perceptions of accuracy in performance appraisal with the motivation and organizational commitment. This may imply that increasing the perception of accuracy in performance appraisal correlates with the employees motivation and organizational commitment.
