| description | The rapid development of the virtual world and touch a variety of human
activities, now also followed by the development of social networks makes the
tendency of interpersonal interaction walk more intensive in the virtual world than
the real world. It affects communities in providing interpersonal trust on social
networking sites.This research was conducted in Yogyakarta State High School
with 154 of subjects students. Measuring instrument in this study is the scale of
loneliness, social support scale and the scale of interpersonal trust in social
networks online. Research shows a correlation value of r = 0.615 with a
significance level of p = 0.000 (p <0.01). Effective donations given by
interpersonal variable social networks of trust is 37.8%.
The study found no significant difference between female students than
male students in the online social network of interpersonal trust. However, more
female students use online social networking as compared to male students. The
study also found that female students have an online social networking site more
like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. compared to male students. Range 2
hours in the use of social networking is the most widely used time range. |
