acceptance of family caregiver of schizophrenia to cope with this situation.
The least of acceptance can increase stressful in family caregiver of
schizophrenia that may reduce psychological well-being. This study was
aimed to know the effect of NIP intervention program to enhance wellbeing
of family caregiver of schizophrenia. The respondents were two
family caregiver of schizophreniaThis study used experimental with single
case A-B-A design. This research hipothesis is NIP intervention program
can enhance well-being of family caregiver of schizophrenia. The result
indicated that NIP intervention program can enhance well-being of family
caregiver of schizophrenia during intervention. This enhancement was
marked by the increasing of NIP attitude of the two participants. The well
being reduce occurred in follow up phase as the NIP attitude did too after
intervention. This was caused by the absence of direct emotional and
social support and media for self-disclosure for the family caregiver.
While, one participant showed a higher level of sukur aspect during
pretest, posttest, and follow up. Another participant had the same level of
sabar and narima until the end of intervention. This was caused by the
appearance of purpose in life. |
