Shrnutí: | The increasing of overweight prevalence in Indonesia needs special concern. In last
decade, the percentage of people with overweight has increased even in developed
and the developing countries as Indonesia. Overweight makes social, medical and
psychological consequences. Mostly, overweight has reciprocal relations with
unhealthy lifestyle. Overweight also makes negative effects psychologically in
reducing self-efficacy. An internet-based self-management program to exercise was
aimed to enhance exercise as one the healthy lifestyles. Using behavior
modification, it was expected that self-efficacy to exercise in respondents can
increase so that respondents have more self-confidence to make changes in life.
The program was given in online manner through internet connection. Respondents
were four adult women with overweight. The research was carried out with single
case method and analyzed using visual inspection, qualitative and quantitative.
Results indicated that internet-based self-management program could enhance
exercise behavior in overweight women and had potentials the self-efficacy to do
sport. |
