| Summary: | The Mei 2006 earthquake has made people of Yogyakarta been awared that the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) became government�s responsibility and people�s as well. Indonesia has been placed in vulnerable area in term of geography, geology and history, so it take an awareness to do all efforts to reduce the risk in pricipal ways dan engage with community directly. The development of disaster risk reduction action plan in the grass root level is a bottom up participatory planning which meant to answer the real problems dan emerge alternatives to solve it and stimulate participation of the people.
