| Summary: | This study aims to determine, analyze, examine, understand and explain
the decentralization of independent agencies institutions in a unitary state.
Thisis an attempt to formulate the concept of an independent agencies in the
area, and also formulate the concept of an independent agencies
decentralization that ideal in a unitary state.
The methods used in research is normative legal research. On the
normative legal research which examined are references or secondary data,
consist of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal
materials. Data obtained in this research then processed desktiptif-preskriptif.
The presence of an independent agencies in the country of Indonesia
today is interpreted as a new phenomenon experienced by all countries in the
world, both countries with a federal form, and the form of unitary state.
Independent agencies is a new agency within the framework of the system of
government of Indonesia.The presence of this independent agencies indicated
a response to the Indonesian public disquiet about the performance of state
institutions in Indonesia. Along with the times, the presence of an

growth.This is evidenced by the efforts to decentralize the independent
agencies that exist in the regions in the country of Indonesia. Decentralization
