One of the potential sources of bioctive compound is endophytic fungi. Endophytic code AAI is one of the endophytic fungi were isolated from the plant Artemisia annua Linn. This study focused to search compounds that have cytotoxic activity against T47D cells from cultures of endophytic fungi code AA1. Endophytic fungi code AA1 cultivates using medium Potatoes Dextrose Agar (PDA), and fermented with medium Potatoes Dextrose Broth (PDB). Extraction was carried out by ethyl acetate in liquid-liquid partition. Fractionated by Preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (PTLC). Cytotoxicity test for T47D cells and Vero cells by MTT assay method. Identification of the active compounds of most cytotoxic fraction with a Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy and Infrared spectroscopy. Ethyl acetate extract of endophytic fungi code AA1 has a weak cytotoxic effect with IC50 for T47D cells and Vero cells resvectivelly 239,88 μg/mL and 147,91μg/mL. fraction 2 and 4 of the ethyl acetate extract of endophytic fungi AA1 have the highest cytotoxic effect on T47D cells with IC50 values respectively 33.88 mg/mL and 32,35μg/mL. Based on infrared and mass spectra, isolate 4 of fractions 4 have containing ester groups, carbonyl and aliphatic CH and fragment m/z 391 refers to di-(-2 ethylhexyl) phthalate and isolate 2 from fraction 2 has hydroxyl, carbonyl aldehyde and CH aliphatic refers to 2-benzyl octanal.
