| Summary: | The research aims at describing (1) the expression of perfective aspect
grammatically in Korean, (2) the variant meaning of perfective aspect in Korean,
and (3) the equivalent in translation of perfective aspect in Korean. The main data
were derived from the sentences taken from Korean books randomly.
The research was conducted by applying distributional, marker reading,
and equivalent method. Distributional method was used to separate sentence into
various part of speech. The next method was used to find various markers,
especially perfective aspect marker, in each part of speech of the sentence. The
last method was applied to find the right translation of each perfective aspect
marker in bahasa Indonesia.
Having analyzed, it finds three findings. Firstly, based on the ways to
express it, there are two ways to express grammatical perfective aspect in Korean
those are ending and auxiliary verb. In ending, it is found there are two forms,
those are -�ss- and -�ss�ss-. In auxiliary verb there are -� b�ri-, -� chiu-, -� n�-, -�
du-, -� noh-, and -� iss-. Secondly, based on variant of the meaning, it finds two
variant of perfective meaning, they are
