Summary:Denture base material are expected to withstand in the oral environment due to their interaction with acidity and alkalinity from exogenous substances during mastication. The aim of the research was to evaluate the effect of saliva pH level to microhardness of thermoplastic resin as denture base material. The experimental laboratory research was used the subject of 80 plates of polyamide and polycarbonate with dimension of 64mmx10mmx2.5mm. The treatment were divided into 8 groups, each group consisted of 10 plates which were immersed in saliva with pH level 4
