| Summary: | Safety and health workplace behavior in oil and gas refineries is a behavior that
very important for the sustainability of the company's operations. A work that is
done at the refinery has a high risk, not only for the worker but also for others and
the environment around the refinery. Employment in the processing of oil and gas
are very prone to accidents, as you may know in general, oil and gas feedstock
that is very sensitive to any activity in the vicinity. Bit errors automatically will
cause a large negative impact, at least explosion that can harm workers and the
environment that is around the workplace it-self. This study examines the
behavior of the survivors and healthy workplace for workers at oil refineries and
natural gas, the purpose of this study is to determine the essence of safety and
health workplace behavior, factors that influence the behavior of safe and healthy
workplace, and also know how your behavior impacts the work safe and healthy
for workers. This study used a qualitative method with phenomenological
approach, the data in this study was obtained from the in-depth interview
technique to 4 subjects, consisting of health and safety division manager
environment, and employees. The results of this study resulted in finding the
essence of safe and healthy workplace behavior, namely, self-awareness,
knowledge, judgment and motivation, the factors that influence the behavior of
safe and healthy workplace, namely, the attitude, the availability of personal
protective equipment, media promotion of health and safety, training and
supervision. The impact of working safely and healthy behaviors that create
conditions conducive in the workplace, workers have physical health and mental
well being, and improve knowledge and skills of workers.
