Summary:The aim of this research is to determine the laws and regulations in Indonesia to accommodate and protect the rights of workers with disabilities whom work in private company in the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region as well as the implementation. This study was conducted using empirical normative method. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. All data were analyzed using qualitative method. The result of this study is presented in a descriptive analysis report. The result of the study shows that Indonesia’s laws and regulations to provide protection towards workers withdisabilities are not maximum, due to the laws which the researcher’s researched were long beenenacted. Therefore they are less following the needs of people with disabilities. Related to protection’s implementation towards workers with disabilities which are work in private companies in the province of Yogyakarta Special Region, indicated that is not optimal due to several internal and external factors from employers who employ workers with disabilities as well as the government, namely the Department of Manpower and Transmigration, The Province of Yogyakarta Special Region.
