Summary:This Research is intended to create a tool that can provide information as a safety guidance for climbers. This tool utilizes data communication between microcontroller using radio frequencies, where the transmitted data is the result of monitoring temperature, humidity, air pressure, and GPS coordinates. The data communication structures used is a mesh topology. There are three tools, each tools divided into router, coordinator, and end device. So, the weather information obtained from weather station (router) in each climbing post and will be delivered to climber’s (end device) via radio waves. The end device can also give the gps coordinates from the climber to the server (coordinator) so that the climber’s location can be monitored.
