Effects of Four Essential Oils Nutrients Digestibility of in vitro Fermentation with Ongole Crossbreed Cattle Rumen Liquoir

In this study four Eos, Foeniculum vulgare, Pins merkusii, Cymbopogan nardusan and Melaleuca leucadendra were used as feed additive in in-vitro rumen fermentation. The effect on dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), crude peotein (CP) and crude fibre (CF) digestibility were studied using in vitro rumen fermentation according to Theodorou Method. Concentrations of essential oil were 0, 100, 200, 400 and 800 mg/L of fermentation medium for each essential oil. Dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and crude fiber digestibility were affected by all EOs. EOs addition in diet reduced values of DM, OM and CF digestibility except Foeniculum vulgare. Value of DM, OM and CF digestibility in fermentation by Foeniculum vulgare addition did not differ from control. Pattern effect of EOs on CP digestibility was differ from other
