Sexual problem generally encountered by teenagers is increasing sexual desire meanwhile they are unmarried. Negative factors such as information explosion on pornography and lack of communication between teenagers and parents are causes of teenagers having premarital sexual intercourse. Teenagers often have wrong perception about information on sex which is against ethical and moral values. Lack of understanding about sexual problem of teenagers can induce unhealthy and irresponsible sexual behavior. The objective of the study was to identify the relationship between pornography exposure and communication between teenagers and parents with sexual behavior of teenagers in Senior High School 11 of Palembang.
This was a cross sectional study design. Subject of the study were as many as 777 teenagers in Senior High School 11 of Palembang with 95 teenagers as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using chi square statistical test with significance level p = 0.05.
