| description | SMS-based Academic Information System at Computer Science Postgraduate Program has been design and implemented using SMS Gateway software and Visual Basic software and it has been tested successfully. This system allows a student to access academic information through his/her hand-phone based on student's identity.
This information system is capable providing information from database, performing registration processes, and accessing required course grades for students. Administrator of the system is able to send rapidly announcement to students or lecturers. The information system is presented in the from of SMS format which to be accepted by the users who send identity query and keyword to this information system.
