The objectives of this study were to identify Mungbean genotype which had high stability and wide adaptability. The experiment was conducted at Jambegede and Muneng, using fertilizer and without fertilizer. Randomized completely block design was used with three replications. The treatments were 14 Mungbean genotypes, including Sriti and Kenari as check varieties. Plant management were done intensively, except diseases. The result showed that there was genotype by environment interaction on quantitative traits, except number of pod per plant. The yield range was 0,78 t/ha -1,21 t/ha, with the average of 0,96 t/ha. Based on regression coefficient to environment index, the Psj-1-90 (0.97 t/ha), Psj-S-31-91 (0,98 t/ha), MMC74d-Kp-l (0,98 t/ha), MMC100f-Kp-l (1,00 t/ha) and Sriti (0,98 t/ha) were adapted to all environment. EVO 947 was adapted to favorable environment, while Psj-20-90 and MMC87d-Kp-5 were adapted to unfavorable ones, which the grain yield were 1,15 t/ha, 0,92 t/ha, 1,21 t/ha respectively. The MMC87d-Kp-5 has high yield potential and suitable for unproductive areas or low input technology.
